The ACEP programmes office team went to Johannesburg in early November for another Department of Science & Technology (DST) event - this time a dinner to showcase ACEP as one of its flagship programmes. The Minister of Science and Technology, the Honorable Minister Mosibudi Mangena told the audience how the programme had helped the department achieve its goal of furthering the frontiers of knowledge and making science attractive as a career path.
Linked to this event was a session in which ACEP reported back to DST and NRF on the advances, successes and achievements within the programme. Speakers enjoyed the opportunity to catch up on the latest findings.
